About KAISZ
The KAISZ foundation is a national (Dutch) foundation with a small board. This requires a lot of mutual understanding and good communication between the members. All board members have their own limitations and obligations. At times this can make it difficult to keep an overview, as well as to keep track of all the work that needs to be done within the organisation.
The KAISZ foundation was founded on 01 January 2021 and has its roots in the KAISZ association, which existed from 2009 to 2020. The KAISZ foundation will continue to build on the working method of the KAISZ association, which mostly involves working in projects.
Aim
The KAISZ foundation brings patients with autoinflammatory disorders together, to help them cope with this disease together: we support, inform and connect.
We keep in touch with relevant professionals and we advocate for the interests of patients that participate in medical studies.
Provision of information: through regular publications on our Facebook page, website, etc. we keep our community informed about relevant developments.
It is very important to the KAISZ foundation that the information is medically correct and up to date. For this reason, we work together with the NVKR (Dutch Association for Paediatric Rheumatology) and with the IWA (Interuniversity Work Group Autoinflammatory Disease).
The KAISZ foundation also has close ties with international patient associations, workgroups, and actively attends conferences to stay informed.
